Jogjakarta is rich in Culture and is the residence of the Royal Palace of the King of Java. Jogja, as it is more affectionately called is famous for its spectacular Ramayana ballet at the Prambanan Temple and of course, in less than one hours drive away, lies the awesome Borobudur Temple. Jogja is also famous for its Shadow Puppet Shows and is a major designer and producer of fine Indonesian Batik.
Hashing in Java is famous for its amazing sunsets and spectacular scenery. With runs through Rice Terraces, Rainforests, Rivers, Caves and Waterfalls, around Lakes and up Volcanoes.

Bromo (for those daring enough), a Live Volcano run up Mount Merapi, Pre and Post Lubes planned in neighboring Jakarta, Bandung, Bali and Lombok, a hash train run from Jakarta through the Tea Plantations to Bandung, voted one of the most scenic train journeys in the world, then a train down to Jogja.
